Russell Martin "Rusty" Denney

Russell Martin "Rusty" Denney, 62, of Woodbine, MD passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, September 30, 2025.
Rusty is survived by his beloved wife, Theresa "Terry" Denney (nee Flint) of 42 years.
Born October 21, 1962, in Catonsville, MD the son of the late Russell E. Denney, and the late Emma Jean Denney (nee Greiner).
Throughout his career, Rusty ran his own home improvement company, Craftmasters, Inc. Rusty was a passionate sports enthusiast. He delighted in watching, playing, and coaching various youth sports. He enjoyed spending time on the water boating, and going camping, where he created lasting memories with his family and friends.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his children, Christy Kingan and her husband Jason, and son T.J. Denney and his wife Katie. He was the loving pop pop to Jaxon Kingan and McKinley Kingan. He is also survived by his siblings, Shirley and Frank Griffin and Shelby and Buzzy Bacon.
A visitation will be held at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A., located at 1212 W Old Liberty Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784, on Sunday, October 5, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and again from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, where the funeral service will held on Monday, October 6, 2025, starting at 12:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Linganore Football and Cheer program.
